Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Habari – MAELEZO na Msemaji Mkuu wa Serikali, Gerson Msigwa amesema ndege ya mizigo inatarajia kufika nchini Juni 3 mwaka huu na kuwa Juni 1, 2023, Waziri wa Ujenzi na Uchukuzi, Mhe. Makame Mbarawa atazungumza na waandishi wa habari kuhusu upokeaji wa ndege hiyo.
Amesema hayo leo Mei 31, 2023 katika ukumbi wa Idara ya Habari – MAELEZO, Dodoma wakati akitoa ufafanuzi kuhusu kuanza kwa majaribio ya treni ya abiria na ndege hiyo ya mizigo.
“Juni 3 mwaka huu tutakwenda kuandika historia kwa kupokea ndege kubwaa aina ya Boing 767-300F ndege ya mizigo ambayo nchi yetu haikuwahi kuimiliki itakuwa ndio ndege ya kwanza kuja Tanzania na inakuja kufanya mapinduzi makubwa katika sekta ya usafiri kwa kuwa sasa kuna mahitaji makubwa ya usafirishaji wa mizigo”, alisema Bw. Msigwa.
Aidha, alifafanua kuwa ndege hiyo ya mizigo aina ya Boing 767-300F bado haijafika Tanzania, kwa sasa iko kwa watengezezaji nchini Marekani.
